About me

I live and work in Zutphen, a characteristic ' Hanzestad'  town where the highways end and calm begins.
You can feel that sense of slowing down in my illustrations.

I draw inspiration from flowers, colour and everything in bloom, but just as much from the seasons.
Autumn, when we are allowed to let go of what feels heavy.
Winter, inviting us into stillness — when everything above ground slows down, while new life quietly grows beneath the surface.
Spring, when everything starts to tingle, growth begins gently and dreams take shape again.
And summer, when we are free to bloom and enjoy what is.

I create illustrations for kids’ designs: sometimes vibrant and colourful, sometimes calm and understated.
Always recognisable by a gentle touch of nature.
Flowers, animals and small details bring my work to life.

I am happiest with time, a blank canvas and a cup of tea — a moment where everything is possible.
